Report: Western Michigan hires Louisville offensive coordinator Lance Taylor as new football head coach

Western Michigan has reportedly hired Lance Taylor as their next head coach from Louisville, where he was most recently the offensive coordinator. The hire was first reported by Pete Thamel from ESPN.

The deal for Taylor is reportedly in the five-year range, and could be announced as soon as Thursday afternoon.

As of publication, the school has yet to make an official announcement.
