ORLANDO, April 21, 2023 – The University of South Florida (27-20, 6-4 ACC) fell to the Central Florida Knights (28-19, 7-3 AAC) in extra innings on Friday night. The Bulls lost 2-1.
South Florida and UCF kicked off the final War on I-4 conference series with (Weston) retiring the first three batters. The Bulls opened the scoring in the top of the second with one run.
(ST. Johns) pinch ran for (Sugarloaf, Pa.) who got on base with a four-pitch walk. She advanced to second on a groundout and then to third, beating a rundown.
